港大offer来了

Dear Tao Dingwen,

I am pleased to inform you that we have decided to make you an offer to
study for PhD degree in Department of Computer Science at The
University of Hong Kong. The date of admission is September 1st, 2013.

1. You will receive a Studentship of about HK$163,200 per year. Your
tuition fee, which is about HK$42,100 per year, will have to be paid out
from this studentship.

2. You are assigned to the Vision and Graphics Group. Your tentative
supervisor is Prof WP Wang.

3. (IMPORTANT!!) You must reply to me by Thursday, Sept 27, 2012 to
confirm your acceptance of this offer. If you fail to accept
the offer before this deadline, the position will be allocated to
another applicant.

4. We place great confidence in your talent and integrity, and believe
that you have the potential of becoming a successful researcher in
future. Once you accept our offer, we trust you will honor your
commitment to coming to study at HKU on Sept. 2013.

总时间是一样的，巴黎高师招大三的学生，出去读3年的硕士，拿到法国本科和硕士的学位，可继续花3-4年在读博士，例如现在09级的学生，需要读3+3or4年=6or7年才拿到博士，08级如果到美国读博，需要5or6年可拿到博士学位，还是要早毕业一年。
到巴黎高师的第一年是读本科，第二、三年才是研究生。
